So many of you were aware of my previous pinned journal and my reasons why. For those who didn't, the TLDR explained my concerns for the early development of the AI learning software on deviantArt- having to take down all but one deviation upload and continuing my work on Newgrounds and Tumblr.

After the changes, I had been trying to remake a name of myself through these two platforms [Twitter, aka 'X', removed two-factor authentication for non-monthly subscribers which had me remove myself as a result for online safety purposes] however I had no such luck. And despite being on these platforms for almost a year, my digital commission business didn't expand. So to think about my business- regardless of my beliefs about the AI here -I have made a difficult [and yet exciting] choice to come back. My old artwork won't return until I can relocate majority of my files I saved [on a separate USB], however I'm going to rebrand myself as the official 'LoRE' commission name!

There are going to be some set ground rules however, as I haven't uploaded anything on here for a while:

  • All of my commissions will be watermarked with the official 'LoRE' stamp, whereas all of my original artwork that I post for fun will have two signatures- one in plain sight on my work, and one hidden within- this is to ensure anti-theft for my future work.

  • Commissions for this year [2023] will be expanded up until the 7th of November at 11:59:59pm EST, as a celebration to my return and to pick up where my business left off.

  • Requests and art trades are off the table- I'm earning a living to start a living.

  • Point Commissions are no longer accepted; there's no way for me to transfer currency into physical cash. PayPal is my main tool.

More boundaries are to be made, but nonetheless these are my main ones. You'll see my activity most on Mondays and Tuesdays [EST] until otherwise. I hope to see you guys soon~!!

For those of you wondering why majority of my deviations are being removed, there is a simple explanation for this: I am deleting them. Just as a continuation from what happened in the last journal, I'm pissed that the developers of the website had to go through this route- an AI generator where, in what cause, it would scan for an artwork and 'use' it to generate some plagiarized 'masterpiece'.

For what it's worth, I'm taking down my deviations that are involved with my small hobby business [and with what I still have saved on my laptop and USB drives] so that way there's less clutter. If anyone here knows how to save a gif file, please feel free to comment down below and let me know how- majority of these animations were not recent, but were from a program that I no longer use [Flash Animation] that my laptops prior had lost due to old age.

I may not be able to delete them all, but I'm taking my chances with what I could do with the greater percentage of the spectrum; and that is to download them if they're rough drawings or not dA-watermarked.

I'll be using this platform to only showcase my animation(s), my journals, and take use of my notes. Any further questions, feel free to comment below the journal as well.

So I got word on the deviantArt Twitter page that it will have an AI generator which- under ‘training’ -will copy anyone’s artwork to generate new AI work…

And the question I have for the developers of the site is ‘How does this help anyone?’ If all it will do is use an artist’s work to create a plagiarized duplicate, then how will it help the human companions of the art industry? To be honest, it’ll lead to a downward spiral of hurt self-esteem in one’s work. Someone who thought that they had done 40+ hours of hard work on a traditional portrait of Mona Lisa only to have its recognition stolen from them by a duplicate of that very Mona Lisa; not only copied, but molded and reshaped into something more ‘attractive’ or ‘appealing’ to the human eye.

Computers are supposed to be our aid in the digital trademark in graphic design and art, not the next HAL 9000 in murdering the era of creativity. So until this is resolved, I’ll be halting uploading my artwork content and continuing on my Twitter page. Commissions are also closed until next May.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello my villainials~! I need some help with a small project, and I'm slowly running out of time:

My girlfriend's birthday is coming up in a couple months, and I'd like to make an animatic/animation video to surprise her. However I only have 10 roles (myself included) out of 12 filled and commissioned, and I'm looking for voice actors to take over the following:

- Stanford Pines (Gravity Falls, 96 words/6 lines)

- Moxxie (Helluva Boss, 8 words/1 line)

If you're interested in voicing/auditioning, comment in this Journal and we'll talk more in Notes- or audition on my Casting Call Club with a demo reel/audition.

As mentioned, I'm running out of time to finish everything; the deadline to have it complete is in January. So if interested, reach out as soon as you can when you can!
